Need Help In clearing an algorithms test

    Hi,

I am a technical writer and a casual programmer. If need help in clearing an algorithms test. I was wondering if there is any algorithms expert here who is willing to help. It will be just a couple of TopCoder style algorithmic puzzles. I do not have a back ground in algorithms and hence cannot do this by my own.

If you are interested and need more information kindly write to me at : aquarian.thunder@gmail.com

    thanks,
    Max

    Welcome to the forum.

You're pretty much asking us to help you commit fraud - either an academic type or general misrepresenting-your-skills-to-an-employer type. This is a Bad Thing.

    So... no. Mostly?

However! We are always happy to help you attain mastery of the discipline if you have specific, well-posed questions. Learning to design and analyze algorithms is not difficult. If you have enough skills to be a casual programmer then you have all the skills necessary.

I'm not quite sure what to suggest as an initial reference work. Nuzzle, do you have any suggestions?

I'm not quite sure what the OP means by "clearing an algorithms test".

This is a public forum so it would be much better if he just posted the "algorithmic puzzles" and explained what help he wants.

At TopCoder he's prepared to open his wallet so you probably get a better deal if you help him there.
