I have heard that its a huge waste of time using JSP for small e-commerce website like **** and amazon, that PHP is better for such small website design, and that JSP takes time to load its pages.
Is it true that JSP is used for a large enterprise rather than a small one?
Please can you explain if JSP can be used the way PHP is being used in general dynamic website design.
Are you sure JSP isn't just getting some of that runoff Java rumour that 'its too slow to do anything'
I know nothing about JSP, I use PHP, but I doubt that it differs performance wise for just websites. I wouldn't be surprised though if more intensive server programs performed differently.
I guess if you really wanna know you gotta dl and test the languages on your server yourself?
