    Thumbs up New Forum Update

Wow! This is fantastic! I really didn't expect this!

Great job guys, I really like the new look. It's suits CG. And it is about time CG gets a new funky, modern, 21st century look.

    Re: New Forum Update

Forum became very very slow in both my laptop and desktop PCs.
Example: I had to wait for more than one minute to see the results of a simple search for the New Posts. And the search engine notified me that "Search took 0,06 seconds"...

    Besides:
where is a toolbar with the tags?
why couldn't I add a smile in this post?

    OK, Brad!
Now I can add smiles, but only in IE (IE8), not in Google Chrome!

Besides, I now see redesined tag bars, but again - only in IE, not in Google Chrome... Why?

PS: what for strange message I've got right now:
You have included a total of 11 images and/or videos in your message. The maximum number that you may include is 10. Please correct the problem and then continue again.

Images include use of smilies, the BB code [img] tag, and HTML <img> tags. Videos are included with the BB code [video] tag. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.

Um...can we get back the other color schemes please? The default looks horrible.

Other than that...the layout is nice!

Generally I like the new look, but I find the smaller font sizes are just a little too far on the small side for my 52 year old eyeballs, on my 17" screen.

    I agree!
Еspecially tooltip font(s) are too small.

What else I find to be not good is almost the same colors for regular text and the links. It's very difficult to distinguish between them.

Where can I find my "User CP"? I love this feature, and I can't find it.
Is your question related to IO?
Read this C++ FAQ article at parashift by Marshall Cline. In particular points 1-6.
It will explain how to correctly deal with IO, how to validate input, and why you shouldn't count on "while(!in.eof())". And it always makes for excellent reading.

Up at the top where you login, there are "My Profile" and a "Settings" links. Try those.

    Re: New Forum Update

    Thanks!

Whilst I'm on the subject, is there any way to see "All Reputation Received"? All I can see is the "Latest Reputation Received".

I think I've been looking for this for more than a year!

Sorry to insist. Its just that I've always found that threads in which reputation is given tend to be interesting conversations, and I always learn something from them re-reading them later.

Is this even possible right now? If not, would it be something worth considering doing?

AFAIK, It shows only the last 25 odd threads in which you have recieved reputation. You have to keep in mind, some members have been rated a million times ( well not really a million, but A LOT ), so to show ALL Reputations recieved would be quite impossible, IMHO.

Some people have over 5000 Reputation points, and to list all the threads in which that user recieved reputation would amount to many many threads.

Maybe Brad would have a more definite answer
