    CChildFrame Buffer

I'm working on a project and can't figure out what seems to be a simple task. The project is created with Visual Studio 2010 as a MDI with tabs. I the view is derived from CListCtrl. I've programmed it to add items to the list. The problems I am having is that I would like to have a little bit of blank space in the child frame at the bottom of the list. Seems simple enough but I cannot figure out how. I've tried MoveWindow and SetWindowPos in the CChildFrame OnCreate Function to no avail. Please help.

How are going to use such a "lank space in the child frame at the bottom of the list"?
Perhaps, you need something like splitter window?

How do you derive a view from CListCtrl? Perhaps you should derive it from CFormView and add a list control to it.

I guess OP meant CListView, not CListCtrl...
However, the idea to use CFormView derived class with a CListCtrl seems to be pretty good!

Yes Victor, CListView. It seems like it would be an easy thing to do but I guess not.

It's very easy with a CFormView
