    Editing a group in Crystal

I am new to Crystal Reports and am working with an existing report. There is a group item and I want to add another field to it. Basically the group consists of four fields concatenated together and I want to append a fifth one. I can't seem to find where I can edit the contents. Please help!

Re: Editing a group in Crystal

    Welcome to CodeGuru forums!

    In the Crystal Reports ide
    Open the report
In the left side of the report, place the cursor over the group header section
it will display the field name that form the group (in my opinion it is a formula field)
    Open the Field Explorer
Click Formula Fields branch to show all the formula fields in your report
Right Cilck the formula that form the group, it will display a context menu
Select Edit, it will open the formula editor window
    Add the fifth field
    Save & close the edition
    Save your rpt
    Test
    JG
