VB6 exe need help.
so my company hired a vb6 programmer and he died (RIP) after completing couple of modules. the solution we were getting was an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution. now all im left with is sql 2000 data base communicating over widows nt authentication and linked over named pipes. and the program is nothing but a single exe file with reports folder made in crystal report 8.5 . is there any way i can get that exe into a source code and get the problems fixed and continue the development?

Re: VB6 exe need help.
Last I read, decompiling back to usable source code hasn't been done in VB6. At least not entirely. And even if you did, it wouldn't be very readable, because of no variable names, etc.
However, if the original developer was working for the company, then the company *should* have all the source code. It should in fact belong to them.

How can something be both new and improved at the same time?
