calling perl from vb 6.0
Hello..
i'm assigned with a project where i've to call perl script from vb 6.0 program based on values that the vb program generates and collect the perl program values(dnt know where!!).m new to vb 6.0 as well as perl n dnt know how to do this.....any help will be gratly appreciated....

Well, asking someone to do your work is fine, if anyone knows how to do what you want. Seeing that you don't, either, why take on the task?

I'm not aware if there are ways to call a Perl's script directly from Visual Basic.
I think you have to translate the script in VB code or creating a .dll that contains the Perl code and then export the functions so that VB can access 'em.
I suggest to translate from Perl to VB (even if it's possible, 'cause VB suffers of some limitations).

Sir, am new in job.took it so that i can learn out of it.asking, so that i can learn more about it, so that next time i need'nt need to ask anyone.anyhow, thank you.
