open url in new tab in background
I have a web app, where when you click on a button, a web page is sometimes (depending on other choices in the web page) generated. I want to be able to open the newly generated web page in a new tab in the browser, but it must be in the background (so the original page remains in focus).
How to do that?
Thanks in advance.

Re: open url in new tab in background
There is a setting you could use ( in HTML terms )
You see, a link's HTML code looks like :
PHP Code:
<A HREF = "Whatever URL">Text to be displayed</A>
If you knew that already, then we're halfway
You should look at the TARGET attribute of the A tag, which will accomplish what you need :
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_a.asp
I hope it helps

Ah...I meant to do it programatically, in the codebehind
