    Crystal Reports, stopping a subreport

The issue I have is stopping the subreport when the data has been found. The subreport is showing me it is finding the requested data in the history and setting the shared values correctly. Can the subreport be ended at this point? The subreport continues on looping thru the history file until useless data is being returned.

    CR 11
The report is reading the HR data base, calling the subreport to see if the employees status has changed. Hope this answers your question.

The issue appears to be the use of 'previous' function. Within the subreport the 'previous' function will not work. What I need is a date from the prior records when the condition has been met.
