Window Menu - active documents
Hello,
I have a strange problem. Whenever I open the first document in my MDI application, it is listed as #2 on the Window menu list of open documents. The next one appears as #3 and so on.
#1 shows blank.
I have looked at all the MDIChildWindows I have created in my application and could not figure out what is causing this empty #1 in the list.
I assume that the list is updated each time OpenDocument is executed. Am I right?
I do have a child window with an OpenDocumentFile(NULL, 0) because there is no view class associated with it. Would this be the cause?
I have tried to CloseAllDocuments for this document template but I can't get rid of the empty #1.
Is there an MFC function that I can set a break point at to indicate where this list is created in the first place?
I am using Visual Studio 2008.
Many thanks
