Your challenge:

Help address one of Europe’s biggest challenges - how people, communities and entire populations get around – powering services such as Thetrainline.co.uk, Transport for London, Arriva and Stansted Airport.

Your role:

Working on highly optimised back-end systems, dealing with analysis and production of core data to be used at the web services layer – enabling technologies like real time multi modal data feeds to power live mapping, live updating, tracking, ticketing, bookings, payments and much more. You will be using the latest technologies in a high quality development environment, collaborating with other passionate and expert C++, Java, .NET, mobile and testing colleagues.

About you:

• Proven C++ coding abilities
• Highly data aware
• An object-oriented approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills

This environment:

• Visual Studio 2012 (C++ v.11 is being assessed) / STL / Boost / Web Services / SQL / Oracle
• Continuous integration, semi-Agile with daily stand ups

• Enhancements to the cutting-edge algorithms responsible for suggesting point-to-point journeys on the public transport network
