Your challenge:

Help address one of Europe’s biggest challenges - how people, communities and entire populations get around – powering services such as Thetrainline.co.uk, Transport for London, Department of Transport and Stansted Airport.

Your role:
Contribute to significant high-performance and scalable middleware, applications, libraries and front-end development projects – enabling technologies like real time multi modal data feeds to power live mapping, live updating, tracking, ticketing, bookings, payments and much more. You will be using the latest technologies in a high quality development environment, collaborating with other passionate and expert Java, C++, .NET, iOS, Android and testing colleagues.

About you:

• Proven Java coding abilities – core or Java Enterprise Edition
• Passion for Web and software development
• An object-oriented approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Core Java / JavaEE6 / Eclipse / Spring / Struts / AJAX / Maven / Web Services / JavaScript / JSP / CSS / HTML / SQL / Oracle

• Maintenance of existing sites and Java middleware code, as well as next generation of travel websites
