How Can I Run OpenCV Program?

I am trying to run an OpenCV program from command line, but it gave error like "The program can`t start because opencv_220d.dll is missing from your computer." Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I am using Windows 7 & Microsoft VC++ 2010. How can I run the program?

All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS. Is the .dll actually present somewhere on your computer (try a search for it)? If it is then its just that your program can't find it. If it isn't then you'll need to (re-)install OpenCV.
