I work for a small nonprofit food bank. We are currently swamped in client records and we thought it might be an interesting idea to utilize a biometric fingerprint scanner to identify each client.

The problem is I am not sure where to begin. I need to maintain a record of all clients and the items issued to them with a complete history of their past items received with a simple view back thirty days. I need to add how many of what they received at each visit.

I plan on using a DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500 Fingerprint Reader to capture the biometrics and will purchase the SDK.
