I was looking into helping my friend develop a website when he asked for something that I had no idea how to go about doing. He was looking for a method of creating a site similar to the Netflix xbox app (for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...jFV46rUg#t=51s) with the video thumbnails of user and admin uploaded videos split into categories. In my past I've only made simple layouts with text, links, and images mainly, and I absolutely have no idea where to even begin . For one, what programming language would I want to use for this? Any help that any of you could give me would be a huge boost to my morale!
