Mmsyserr_nodriver
I have a program that sets and gets WAVE,MID,MIDI Volume (midiOutGetVolume,waveOutGetVolume).
My program on XP works.
But I recently bought a laptop with WINDOWS 8.
And on my laptop I get MMSYSERR_NODRIVER with midiOutGetVolume(0,&j_midiVol);
On my laptop if I leave out midiOutGetVoume.My program works fine.

Re: Mmsyserr_nodriver
Well, perhaps your "laptop with WINDOWS 8" drivers do not support this midiOutGetVolume?

So a 7 year old desktop with WINDOWS XP.
Has better drivers then a new laptop with WINDOWS 8?
