Breakpoints aren't hit. How can I fix them?

I remember I asked this question before. I don't remember how exactly they are fixed.
Do I delete some files? I tried to recompile to no avail.
    Thanks

I presume you do it with the debug build.
First check that there is no any "duplicated" file opend in your IDE.
Then do Rebuid All (menu Build -> Rebuild <your_project_name>)
If you are using VC++6.0 - delete .ncb, .aps, .opt files, then do Rebuid All

Thanks Victor, I discovered that I was pointing to the wrong executable (output file), so the breakpoints never make it
