CLR profiler: log file is not created

    Hello,

I downloaded the source files and binaries for the CLR profiler.

I'm running the profiler on windows 7-32.

I launched the profiler (32bit version) and launched a C# console application (also tried it with winform application).

After the application terminates, no log file is created in "C:\Windows\TEMP" which is the default location for log files.

All the menu items under "view" are dimmed.

The application I'm running was taken from the sample code in the CLR profiler user manual in MSDN.

    All checkboxes are checked.

    Can you help ?

    Thanks,

    Zvika

Re: CLR profiler: log file is not created

    Hello,

When I downloaded and used an older version, all menu items are availiable upon application termination.

It seems that in the newest version further steps (environment variables ?) are required.

    Thanks,
    Zvika
