Opengl loading 3d animated model
Hello i have problems about loading a bone animated model.
Can u show me the way?
Firstly i tried fbx sdk. But it works on just visual studio. And i dont like visual studio. I want to work with mingw, i like codeblocks, devc++
Then i looked a md5 loader. A component of the loader works on just vs again... Then i found cal3d and assimp. I didnt looked them yet. And i found collada format at internet. It looks like simple. Im thinking to write my own loader. I wrote obj loader before.
Can u help me about this? What should i do? What is the easiest way?

Re: Opengl loading 3d animated model
I would use a SDK. Any SDK. A SDK should handle all of the details of file loading, so you don't have to know anything about the file format itself. But, whatever method you use, you still have to intergrate it with OpenGL.
OpenGL integration is something you have to write yourself, so in that respect, all methods are the same.
