Getting CPU Temperature WITH vb.net
mbm5vbnet.zip
Hi, I'm trying to get the CPU temperature and Fan speed throgh MBM5 or SpeedFan's shared memory into a string in my program. I've so far been unlucky. Somebody already told me to try win32_temperatureprobe class in System.Management but MSDN says that this is not useful to get temperatures because it can't read a real-time value (stupid machines...):8-0:
So, anyone knows how to do it?

Re: Getting CPU Temperature WITH vb.net
The best solution might be to use the MSAcpi_ThermalZoneTemperature class in WMI. With this class, you'd need to convert it to Celsius from Kelvin ( i think - studying electronics ) But, if your motherboard does not support WMI calls, you are out of luck and there is nothing you'll be able to do.
