    What would be your questions?

    Hey guys,

I am a student in germany and I give in about four weeks a presentation about fault-prediction with software metrics.

I am going to present some classification teachniques (Pareto, decision tree, fuzzy, neural network and factor-based discriminant) and one or two metrics. At the end I will present some results of studies done with this.

If you were my audience, what would you interest? Which questions would you have?

Re: What would be your questions?

For many presentations, the two simple questions that often trips up the presenter are why? and how? Why is this important to me? Why should I be concerned about this? How is this going to help me? How can I afford it? etc etc.

    Good luck with the presentation.
All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS. Re: What would be your questions?

Thanks for your answer. In my presentation I will also answer the question why (better management of test resources, softwaretester and reduction development costs).

And I will also answer the question how on the surface. That means, I am going to explain all differente techniques in some words how they are done ... so that is already part of the presentation.
