Winforms: Arrange controls relatively
Hello,
I built a Winforms application with a tab control that contains few pages.
On each page there are simple controls like: TextBox,ComboBox,Checkbox
On a 20'' screen, I see all controls.
On a 15'' laptop screen, I can not see the status bar and part of the pages.
The resolution of the laptop is identical to the 20'' screen and I tried also highr resolution.
Can you help ?
Thanks,
Zvika

Re: Winforms: Arrange controls relatively
I'd make use of docakble panels here. Place all the desired controls inside a panel and set the panel's Anchor and Dock properties accordingly

Along with what Hannes said - detect the resolution and adjust the controls/add scroll bars as appropriate.

The Control Panel / Use Larger Fonts settings can also have an amazing effect on what Windows shows.
