need help in connecting text with image

    Hi friends

I would like to design a GUI as follows:
Two text boxes to specify an input and an output of a process and one drop down menu to describe the process. All the processses will be initially be present in the drop down menu

one update button, which upon keying in the text in these textboxes and selection of an option in the drop down menu should become active and upon clicking it, should represent this process as a diagram

once the first diagram is done, user can again key in the values in both the text boxed and then get an image once again if the update is created.

    which software shud i use

Well you've posted this in the VB6 forum.. which is not a bad choice, however if your just starting with coding, it's best to jump right into .NET...

Just about any language can do what you're describing, and fairly easy too...

Perhaps to get you started, you need to do a little reading...

Check out the Animation articles on the Main Codeguru site...
