    Lightbulb Is it possible to use other applications tools in vb 6.0

    Hello sir,

    I would like to call plotoshop tools erase, blur, crop..etc tools to my program is possible to call like that tools, if possible then plz give one example.

    Yes it should be possible by using API calls such as findwindow and sendmessage

    Some software also includes its own API that allows you to call certain functions.

    I don't use Photo Shop so am not familiar with it enough to give any specifics.

    You could search for examples that use findwindow and sendmessage and that should help get you started

    It would be much easier to create your own methods for this purpose, as PhotoShop might not expose those objects, and it will take you weeks instead of days. Also remember that PhotoShop takes up a lot of processor speed and time, whereas going GDI in your app is much faster
