also just because they have found that mersenne prime number, does not mean that all the possible primes between 1 and that number have been actually found.
Note that it has taken the cooperative effort of Thousands of computers for 4.5 years to find that number over the previously found largest mersene prime (243112609-1).
Your chances to find primes in this order of magnitude on your home PC are... near non-existant.

Yes. However that code has never been legal for Visual C++, and it has never been legal ANSI C++. Given that the question was posted in the Visual C++ forum, might as well point out that the code as-is will not compile.
