Creating template reports - how to get data do 'match up' when applied?
Background Information: I'm using CR Developer V184.108.40.2064 RTM, no enterprise, my connection is OLE DB (microsoft for SQL server) and I'm using commands. I have only about 6 months of experience with CR.
I was wondering: I've made a report template that I intend to apply to many future reports. I want to design it in such a way that when I make a new report (using the standard report creation wizard or otherwise) I can just select the fields I want and have them display in specified positions in the created report. So far, I have been trying to achieve this using template field objects with no success. Is there some way to do this? It has eluded me thus far.
