Securing Software to a Machine
I have been using the Hard Disk serial number to lock my software to a particular machine, but have found that a lot of computers these days have the same hard disk serial number (Particularly with Notebooks)
Not sure what serial number is delivered from an Solid State Drive (SSD)
Is there another number I can use which is unique to a machine which I can reradily access from VB6 so I can use it in creating a unique identifier for my software
MAC Address Perhaps? How do I get to that ?
Thanks

Not to mention that software can CHANGE the Disk Key. Just pick an activated one and use that many times.
