    What header for sleep()

    Hi !

    I have been googling for a long time to find the header used with sleep().

    Your help would be great ! Many thanks.

    If you mean Sleep, the header is windows.h.

    I mean sleep() that apparently compiles with MinGW but not with VS 2012

    MinGW does not contain "sleep" in any of its headers. You could use MSYS or Cygwin if you require a Posix emulation layer on Windows.

    Then you're definitely in a wrong forum. This one is dedicated to Visual C++ Programming, not only of VS 2012 but any Visual Studio ever released by MS.
