Is it better Netbeans or Eclipse for learning?

    Hi everyone!!
I'm learning to develope web appliclations in C++ and Java.
I'm using now Netbeans, but some class partners have told me Eclipse is a better IDE for learning. Is it true?
I feel confortable programming on Netbeans, but maybe I should try.
    What do you think?

Are you really developing web applications in C++?

No it's not. These IDEs are functionally so similar they're almost identical.

Your class mates are just trying to justify and reinforce their own choise of IDE.

Both IDEs have supported C++ for a long time (and are becoming increasingly popular with C++ programmers and not just Java).

My question was whether the OP was developing web applications with C++.

We are learning both C++ and Java languages. It's good to learn as much as you can so you can get the opportunity to choose the one you like most, isn't it? We started with C++ and we are now learning Java, and by now I think they seem to be similar in some ways, but really different in other ways, so they must be usefull in different tasks.
Still so much for me to learn... but I really love this world of programming :-)
Thanks so much for your answers.

    I suppose they do :-)
I really feel confortable using Netbeans, and as they are so similar, there should be no problems for me using Eclipse. Maybe I should have a try.

No, you asked if he "really" was.

Since you knew C++ is available on both IDEs, your astonished disbelief instead must mean you consider C++ inappropriate for web developments.

There's no reason to await a yes or no from the OP. Please feel free to deliver your prepared rant right away.

Chill out, razzle. I asked because I was interested in finding out if the OP was developing a web app in C++.

You have to admit, it's not usually the first language you think of when it comes to web apps.

I supose each language is usefull in different tasks.
We aren't still programming apps, just learning to use the language and running programms in console.
We started with C and C++, cause they make easy to understand now we are learning java language.
