    Visual Studio Express Book

Can you tell me of a good book that explains 'Visual Studio Express' for a beginner? I want to automate 'Excel' for use in lottery tables and charts.I have Windows 8 32 bit.

    Re: Visual Studio Express Book

but for which language - c++, c#, Visual Basic? Visual Studio express is just a development environment as I mentioned in reply to another of your posts.

PS Are you sure that Visual Basic for Applications (which comes with Excel) won't do what you want?

All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS.
