Well hello Alias and welcome to code guru. You're just said hello to us all

If you're after advice just choose the appropriate forum and post your question although I would suggest you read http://forums.codeguru.com/announcement.php?f=7 first.

We've a friendly bunch here and we'll do our best to provide advice and guidance.

All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS.
