    Payroll system....

I am supposed to be doing a payroll system for a friend, it's only a little play about one. He asked me for the inputs to be as followed:

    Senior Staff:-
    Enter employee name
    Enter Annual salary

    Salaried Staff:-
    Enter employee name
    Enter Annual salary for employee

    Contract Staff:-
    Enter employee name
    Enter hourly rate for employee.

I've tried my best, but am getting confused at the switch statements etc. Any easier way to do it?

If you post your code we'll be better able to advise. When posting code please use code tags. Go Advanced, select the formatted code and click '#'.

And please don't insult our intelligence by pretending this is a "payroll system for a friend", when it's clearly homework.

If you think it's homework don't bother replying to this thread. I don't know what homework you get, but I'm in University and don't get homework. We are a group of people who are trying to develop their knowledge within the programming language. There are a lot of classes like this in the World. Please don't bother saying "don't insult our intelligence" when you clearly don't know what I am asking. Thanks.....

What kind of university doesn't give homework? Homework questions are pretty easy to recognize.

Anyway, if you want help, as 2kaud suggested post your code and say where you're stuck. As it is, you haven't asked a question anybody can answer yet.
