Mfc100.dll missing
Hi Everyone,
I have recently upgraded one of my programs to Visual Studio 2010.
Some users are now reporting an error "Can not find mfc100.dll" upon startup.
What is the best way to fix this?
I've already found that the error can be fixed by installing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=14632
However, I was wondering if this could be fixed without needing to install such an external package.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Mfc100.dll missing
I find it easier to link in the MFC libraries directly rather than try to distribute the DLLs.

I'm more of a mathematician than a programmer, so please forgive my ignorance.
But how would I link in the MFC libraries in VS2010 (or VS2013)?

Re: Mfc100.dll missing
I use 2012. Go to Project, properties, general, Use Of MFC. Select Use MFC in a static library

You might create a MSI package (setup project) to distribute your app along with required dlls.
Best regards,
