What are your tips, suggestions, or comments on doing site/app migrations/updates?
Getting Site Updates and Platform Migrations Right
This is a more 'editorial' type post that I did here on Codeguru.com. I'd be curious to hear other people's thoughts on this (you can comment here or on the article). Are there other things you would add to the items to avoid or focus on when migrating to make sure you don't screw things up? Are there any other current examples of sites you'd point to? Let's leave out the last one or two Codeguru migrations. Those are old, and we know the issues that were there!)
