File In Use Dialog

One of the procedures created MS Word object and opens document. That document may be already open by the second user. In this case the first user gets the dialog:

I'd like to find what selection was made by the first user and also what button (OK or Cancel) the first user clicked.
By knowing this I can direct the program to one or another direction.

How can I find what was done by the first user?
