    Re: Help me

My i know if this function can really filter packets?
No. All the functions will do is check that a passed string is valid or not. This is what your 'friend' gave you and I've just tidied it up. This is the first time packet filtering has been mentioned.

And this function or program is incorporated in dll target because i will hook this one into exe itself .
To incorporate these functions into a dll, you need to have the dll source to modify. If you want to inject or hook these code functions into an existing exe, that is a whole different issue and requires advanced knowledge of Windows programming.

Perhaps you should explain exactly what you are trying to achieve - because so far you haven't and hence nobody here really knows what you want and what guidance to provide.
All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS. You are ultimately responsible for the effects of your programs and the integrity of the machines they run on. I'm not sure he knows well enough to explain it properly.

OP, C++ isn't like a scripting language where you can be up and running with little to no experience. Throw in Windows and DLL programming and there's a big learning curve to get over. Seems like you need to start at the beginning with an introductory book or something.
