JDBC Selecting a Database from Oracle 11g(offline)

I'm having a bit of trouble as I haven't worked before with Oracle ( let alone 11g Express Offline version ).

The problem is, I have to create two databases in Oracle 11g, then create a button in Java that would allow me to select which DB do I want to connect to.

How do I do that? ( Didn't find anything about schema owner, or what's it called )

Sounds like homework. No matter. Do a google search for how to connect to an oracle db in java. Typically, you'll open the db using a connection string that tells which db to open.

Once you get that figured out, then it's simple to change to a different database by using a different connection string.
