Install a program made in vb6 on windows 10

    Hi,

I tried to install a program made in visual basic 6 on windows 10 64-bit and on the screen of Microsoft Data Access Components 2.0, it keeps running and does not continue the installation even waiting for hours. I tried to install Visual Basic on this machine as your article on the site: https://www.raymond.cc/blog/install-...chine-for-java, but it did not work either. Would you have any suggestions on how to install a program already compiled on windows 10 64-bit ?. I need to install this program to run on 2 windows 10 64-bit machines !!!!
Q.: I compiled this program (Package and Deployment) on a Windows XP machine.
    In advance grateful,

    Ricardo

Did you trick the vb6 setup program into thinking java was installed by copying the msjava.dll file as suggested by the article?

The MS Data Access components 2.0 is extremely old and should not be installed, Even Windows 2000 came with a newer version pre-installed. Remove that from your installer package and you should see better results.
