How to draw Dashed Ellipse in Embedded VC++
Hi all,
In my application using eVC++ 4.0, I have to draw ellipses with different line styles such as dashed, dotted,
dashed-dotted..
I do it successfully in VC++ 6.0, using Bezier Functions... But some of the functions are not supported in eVC++ 4.0.
Is there any way to draw these ellipses?
Please help me...
Thanks in Advance,
Arun AC

Can't you use the Ellipse function instead of using Beziers??

Re: How to draw Dashed Ellipse in Embedded VC++
Hi Marc,
In eVC++ 4.0 , the dashed, dotted, dashed-dotted linestyles
work only with pen width 1 or less.
In my appln, i have to draw the ellipses with penwidth more than 1.
How can it be done ?
Please help...
Thanks in advance,
Arun AC

Unfortunately, that's not only the case for eVC++ 4.0 for for all versions of Windows as can be read in the MSDN:

I don't know how to draw tick dotted lines with GDI, but maybe you can use AntiGrain to do it. Check the demo page.
