Re: When you were just a NOOB
Well, you can search for all threads started by a user, any date, sorted ascending (the oldest to the newest).

Re: When you were just a NOOB
Ideally you would have started a thread wen you came to CG to ask a Question. If you have done that then you can browse all the threads started by you from your public profile page. That will land you in to the very first thread you started.
But if you came and replied to someones post then that is a different thing. Mods should be able to help us here.

I do agree Shuja,
Because I see I've registered on CG on July 24 2001, but my first "findable" post was July 26 2001
Interesting

Re: When you were just a NOOB
My first post could also be considered a Hall of Shame post. I can't believe couldn't figure out the answer to this on my own. It seems so simple now.
Death is life's special way of telling you you're fired.
For I do not seek to understand in order to believe, but I believe in order to understand. For I believe this: unless I believe, I will not understand. - Anselm of Canterbury (1033–1109)

Re: When you were just a NOOB
Great thread Hannes
Ok... First question
as to hall of shames... do a search for threads started by me, then pick one at random. You've got a good chance of hitting one!

I refuse to "grow up". But I will always be programming.
Please remember to rate the posts and threads that you find useful.
How can something be both new and improved at the same time?

You still have the option of bumping the thread

Heh...actually, I long since concluded it was not possible/practical using that window class. I have been using a different method altogether, which gives additional flexibility anyway.
