Is this a pro forum?
Because of what I've seen this forum seems very pro.
I'm a noob, with "untutoriable"(that is, questions that is quite hard to answers with tutorials) noob questions, and I wonder if anyone's offended when one is posting these?
Does people here feel that noobs should try to find a "beginners" forum instead, because they have less to add than an experienced programmer?

Hopefully not! I learn something new every day, partly because of the 'pro' answers that I didn't know, but most of all because of the 'noob' questions I never asked myself.
So, welcome to the forum, dreamfluid
By the way, I think this should have been posted to the general discussion / chit chat forum

Nope.. but I should say people do expect you to show an enthusiasm to first try out things before you post. One cannot say, this is what I want , please post the code for that. There is a tendency to avoid such questions. However, what is welcome is something like this:
This is what I want. This is what I tried.. It doesn't work. What could be wrong ?
So, no .. noone here would be discouraging noobs.. but only encouraging them to look around , try out and provide hints..
Welcome

Re: Is this a pro forum?
Well lets just say I post here, and I am far far from a pro
This is the best coding forum ever. Everyone around here is very nice and answeres your questions no matter how 'noobish' they are. Ever since I have been here, everyone has been nice and helpful, I even helped some people.
Welcome to CodeGuru and enjoy your stay.

Now then, from my time as a math "professor" I can say with certainty:
There is such a thing as a stupid question.
Wakeup in the morning and kick the day in the teeth!! Or something like that.

Re: Is this a pro forum?
Welcome dreamfluid!
Don't worry about asking noob questions, I'm still quite a noob as well and the people on CG are so very helpful - this is the best programming forum you will ever find, in my opinion, and most of the people are nice and friendly, that makes looking for answers (and getting them) more enjoyable.
and remember to visit the Chit Chat Forum more often!
Enjoy, and have fun!
