Entry Level Programmer ($10 /hour)
Ideal candidate would be a student or recent graduate looking for some extra cash. Must be disciplined enough to work on their own without supervision. This is a work from home job. Candidate must have their own computer and high speed internet.
Experience with the C programming language would be really helpful. Familiarity or experience with other programming languages such as Visual Basic would be ideal but is not required. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server would be helpful for some of the advanced aspects of the job but is not required.
Candidate will work with myself in developing scripts that are used to convert data from one application to another. Will be responsible for updating scripts when new versions of software are encountered.
Training will be provided as needed, however I am hoping for someone that can figure a lot of stuff out on their own with some guidance and mentoring.
This is a part time position, anticipating approximately 10 - 20 hours a week with a possibility of more. Can work around schedules but need someone to be available when they say they are going to be available.
Other technologies / applications that would be helpful:
- FTP
- Client / Server
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Windows Batch Files
- Remote Desktop
Pay Structure:
- Will pay hourly for development of new scripts
- Will pay fixed rate of project cost on subsequent data conversions using existing scripts that candidate helps build
- Bonuses possible depending on the amount of work that comes in

Can you provide some more info on kind of project? That will help to decide for the job as you have mention that the person will have to work on his own.
With regards,
