A message for my Indian brothers
If you have a function or party at home and there's excess food left over at the end, do not hesitate to call 1098 (only in India), the child helpline. They will come and collect the food so it can feed those children.

Very good thought! Hope people take it seriously and do it (if its for real).
Preserving the prepared food and distributing it would be a challenge. Who are undertaking that? Government or some NGO?

I just read a news a few days ago that in India, there is a prison whose food is so nice, that the prisoners do not want to be released when their imprisonment period are up. Imagine staying in prison in preference for its food, than outside food. Something must be very wrong then.
