I am a newcomer! Need tips and info
Hey fellow programmers,
I am new to the field and just joined the workforce. I work in a firm that doesnt have too many developers. My question is where do you "fellow developers" hang out? Whom do you go to if you have a problem or are stuck when writing a code? Which online sites would you recommend the most for problem solving? Please help, need your tips and tricks to survive in this industry!

Hello Newbeegeek - I think Arjay's post puts it very eloquently, there is nothing to add to that apart from this "me too" post..

Yes - there are also some other good resources out there. I don't want to advertise other sites, but I think it would be fair to mention this one if you're into Java: http://forum.java.sun.com - it's the Java developer's website. Probably one of the best places (other than here) to get help with Java problems.
