Is F-22 the Vista of Boeing?
Hi:
I heard F-22 is very expensive, very difficult to fly, and easy to crash. It can pop up so many error signals to distract pilot. Even Pentagon decided to skip it for FX-35. Is this true? Anyone has experience of flying F-22, can you tell me?

The F-22 is a Lockheed Martin aircraft. Boeing was only a prime contractor.

Very expensive? Wrong -- it's very very expensive.
Very difficult to fly? -- F-22 is just the hardware portion. The fly-by-wire system is the software part. The hardware is really made to be difficult to fly so when there is a threat, it's should be easy to be erratic. The software is supposed to make that easy for the pilot to be erratic and stable at times.
The fly-by-wire system was probably created out of Vista or is it Vista that was created out of fbw -- that is something you probably need to research
