What is good about HD programs?

I had viewed some HD programs on TV. They are just more clear and comfortable. They are not as spectacular as I expected. Is paying HD cable worth?

I think so, if not just for the Digital Audio on most over-the-air stations as well as all the premium channels. Of course, if you don't have Surround Sound, then you probably don't know what you're missing.

You have several different kinds of HD. You mainly have the 720p, 1080i and 1080p formats. If you would compare a 1080p bluray to the DVD version you should see quite a difference, if of course your HD TV is 1080p! A lot of HD TVs are not the full 1920x1080 resolution.

The sports are amazing. Its definitely worth it.

I got a new TV a few months ago, my dad was like "Why would you pay so much for a TV?" then I turned on a football game and he didn't want to leave lol.
