Can C Sharp the best choice for securities firm web application

Dear all,

Which one of C Sharp or C++ the best choice for securities firm web application??

As I find C Sharp is more common and easier to use than C++. But some web application of securities firm are using C++ (VS 2005).

I need to decide which one should use? Do you have any opinions??

It is a matter of preference -- I don't know that one is better than the other. I would recommend C#.

Security is a pretty generic term, anything in particular you're worried about? I've been programming websites for almost 2 years now in C# haven't run into any security issues that I could not solve using C#.
