Error 1304..

Hi..

Am getting error while installing crystal reports 2008. Am using vb6.0 in my machine. It will showing an error, Error 1304.

Error writing to file. CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Design.DLL


Am not able to remove crystal report from control panel which is installed previously. Can any one explain this...?

What OS are you using?
Usually Crystal Reports 2008 is made for VB.NET in VS2008. I'm not sure if it will work with VB6 anyway.

According to http://www.componentsource.com/produ...ibilities.html, Crystal Reports 8 is compatible with VB6. I'd check the minimum requirements for Crystal 8 to make sure that a requirement isn't missing first. Then I'd check to make sure that Visual Studio 6 is installed properly. Beyond that, I'm not sure. What OS are you using?

Yes Leon Kennedy, u r correct i had also checked, CR 2008 is compatible wid VB6.0. And am using Windows Xp in my system..
