Re: Need to be Creative and artistic to go into graphic designing?

i personnaly dont really know, but my uncle owns his own company that makes custom graphics for other companies/people, and he came over to my dad's house one day when i was making a website for my dad and happened to see the screen on my comp and asked if i was interested in learning what he does (since he cant code and im no good in graphics, we could help eachother). i had the same question as you, im not creative in any way, but when i have an idea in mind i can build off that. what he told me is this: "i dont want you to be creative. when you start learning graphics you want to learn what you can do and what does what first. creativity comes in later after you have more experience with what you're using."
-not sure if that helped, but i noticed you didnt have any posts here, so i thought i should share this story with you
