ok, more questions, heh. a client wants me to modify a program to read data from an oracle database instead of a text file (apprently a program called SmartSection's next version dumps its output to an oracle DB instead of a text file...unlucky me). all i have to do is make a DSN and link up to it in my code with ADO and i'm set right? if thats how it works, don't i need oracle drivers to make the DSN? where do i get these? i gotta test it before i release it, so i need the drivers on my computer to make a DSN for a sameple database. thanks a bunch!
